Job Summary:
As a frontline leader in the Cybersecurity Department, the Cybersecurity Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cybersecurity operations related to access governance, identity lifecycle management, auditing, compliance, and risk mitigation across the organization. This role ensures cybersecurity practices align with clinical and business workflows, regulatory requirements, and enterprise security standards. The Cybersecurity Supervisor leads a team of cybersecurity analysts, coordinates with operational and IT stakeholders, and supports secure, efficient, and compliant access to organizational systems and data. This position plays a pivotal role in governance, audit response, access management, risk reduction, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and controls.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity, information security, identity governance, access management, or related security disciplines, including leadership or senior-level responsibilities. Seven (7) or more years of senior-level cybersecurity experience with demonstrated leadership in governance, compliance, access management, risk management, or security operations.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Knowledge of computer principles at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or through an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Emerging leadership abilities. Demonstrated interpersonal skills in communications with all levels of organizational personnel, vendors, technology teams, and leadership. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, access management, compliance, and audit practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Highly motivated and capable of operating with limited supervision. Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in high-pressure situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence. Knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and access governance practices. Experience with identity governance, access management, audit, compliance, or cybersecurity administration tools.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
One or more industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications preferred, such as: CISSP, CISM, Security+, CGEIT, CRISC, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or equivalent.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health
Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $41.37 - $70.76. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
