JOB PURPOSE

The role of this position is to train customers, perform product demonstrations, and support sales with technical support for Topcon hardware and office products.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and train customers on Topcon hardware, software, and workflows in the field.

  • Classroom training at Topcon Solutions Store facilities for large groups of people on Topcon hardware, software, and workflows.

  • Development of training material and guides for customers.

  • Providing phone support and troubleshooting issues for customers in the field.

  • Train other employees on Topcon hardware, software, and workflows.

  • Work closely with our Sales team to present customers with the best product solutions for their jobs and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective speaking style, public presentation ability, positive attitude, and a professional image.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

  • Experience with Topcon or competitor's hardware, software, and workflows is beneficial. 

  • Land Surveying, construction layout, or construction technology-related experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Teaching classes for 6-8 hours daily. 

  • Able to lift 40 lbs.

  • Able to walk on rugged job sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 

Working Conditions

  • Work is typically 50% indoors and 50% at outdoor job sites.

  • Travel and overnight travel are required to provide customer training.
