Supplier Quality & Food Safety Auditor - Asia

Today we are looking for a Supplier Quality & Food Safety Auditor who will oversee production standards, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. This role requires regular travel across Asia or permanent residence in the region.

YOU WILL

• Conduct regular on-site visits to manufacturing plants and subcontractors across Asia.
• Performfood safety, quality and manufacturing audits (process audits, hygiene audits, documentation audits).
• Verify production and quality documentation, including specifications, certificates, and control reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety requirements, and international norms (HACCP, ISO 22000, IFS, BRC).
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up on non-conformities.
• Build strong working relationships with local production teams and suppliers.
• Report audit findings, risks, and recommendations to the European headquarters.
• Support continuous improvement of product.

Requirements

• Experience in the food industry - ideally as a Food Technologist, Quality Specialist, Food Safety Auditor, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems: HACCP, GHP/GMP, ISO 22000, IFS, BRC.
• Experience conducting audits in production environments (internal or supplier audits).
• Understanding of food manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites across the region.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Asia or already based in the region (China preferred).
• English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Mandarin or another Asian language is a plus.
