Structural Engineer

A leading design and manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to support their innovative team. This role is based in the Bay Area with hybrid work arrangements and travel requirements. The position offers a salary range between $130,000 and $170,000 plus equity, focusing on advanced structural design and project management. *Structural Engineer Responsibilities:* * Design foundational and structural components for residential projects, including light-frame wood and steel elements. * Prepare detailed permit and construction documents for multiple concurrent projects. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure coordination and constructability. * Conduct site visits for inspections, review project submittals, and respond to RFIs. * Develop engineering tools and systems to streamline design and documentation workflows. *Structural Engineer Qualifications:* * Licensed Civil Professional Engineer in California. * At least eight years of experience in designing light-framed wood systems and steel components. * Proficient with BIM software such as Revit. * Skilled in creating engineering tools, systems, and process improvements. * Demonstrates strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
