Structural Engineer

A growing construction firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support its remote team. This role offers the opportunity to lead structural design efforts for innovative retail developments. There is no application deadline for this role. *Structural Engineer Responsibilities:* * Develop and refine structural models and construction documents for various ground-up commercial projects. * Review geotechnical data and incorporate site-specific foundation and framing designs. * Oversee and approve models and drawings created by BIM technicians before submission. * Ensure all structural designs meet relevant codes and standards across multiple jurisdictions. * Respond directly to city plan check comments and coordinate with architectural and MEP disciplines to resolve conflicts. *Structural Engineer Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred. * Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license; SE license is a plus. * Minimum of 5 years of experience producing structural documents for commercial buildings, especially retail or car wash facilities. * Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software such as RISA, SAP2000, or ETABS. * Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently and collaborating effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
