Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Static Image Editor with a strong track record in e-commerce to enhance, refine, and transform product visuals and promotional assets. Unlike a traditional Graphic Designer who creates concepts from scratch, your focus will be technical image refinement, high-end compositing, and producing conversion-focused sales and offer-based imagery. You will blend traditional post-processing techniques with modern AI generation tools to deliver high-volume, high-converting visual assets efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Image Retouching & Post-Production: Clean up raw photography, perform color correction, exposure adjustment, object removal, background isolation, and surface cleanup for e-commerce product catalogs. 

• Sales & Offer Visual Creation: Produce promotional visuals (e.g., promotional badges, discount callouts, bundle overlays, banner variations) designed specifically to drive conversions and sales. 

• AI-Assisted Workflow Execution: Utilize generative AI tools to rapidly create background variations, generate lifestyle mockups around product photography, and upscale/extend image borders. 

• Batch Processing & Sizing: Format, crop, and export optimized assets across diverse platform specifications (Shopify/Amazon catalogs, Meta ads, Google Display, marketplace listings). 

• Asset & Quality Consistency: Maintain strict brand visual guidelines, color accuracy, lighting consistency, and shadow realism across large volumes of images. 

Key Technical Stack & Tool Requirements 

1. Core Post-Processing & Manipulation Tools 

• Adobe Photoshop (Advanced): Advanced masking, frequency separation, camera raw processing, pen tool isolation, non-destructive editing, smart objects, and action automation. 

• Adobe Lightroom: Batch processing, unified color grading, and catalog organization. 

• Canva / Figma (Desirable): Fast composition setup, simple layout handling, and vector icon overlays for quick offer graphics. 

2. Generative AI Tools (Sales & Background Generation) 

• Midjourney / DALL-E / Stable Diffusion: Prompt engineering for background generation, lifestyle settings, and contextual surface integration. 

• Photoshop Generative Fill / Generative Expand: Seamless object removal, background extension, and element replacement. 

• E-commerce Specific AI Platforms: Tools such as CreatorKit, Pebblely, Photoroom, or Flair AI for quick lifestyle mockup generation around static product photos. 

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications 

• E-Commerce Background: 2+ years of experience working with e-commerce brands, DTC agencies, or online marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, etc.). 

• Technical Precision over Visual Strategy: Strong technical eye for lighting direction, shadows, edge reflections, and realistic perspective alignment when merging elements. 

• Direct-Response & Commercial Awareness: Understanding of what visual elements pull attention in high-converting sales graphics (clear typography hierarchy, contrasting offer badges, clean focal points). 

• Efficiency & Batch Speed: Ability to handle high-volume processing without compromising edge accuracy or color fidelity. 

• Portfolio Requirement: Demonstrated portfolio showcasing "Before vs. After" raw photo edits, offer/sales imagery, and AI-assisted image compositions.
