Staff Infrastructure/DevSecOps Engineer

The Opportunity:

This position is for a Staff Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer.  You'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented team members.  Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer who is a motivated self-starter that can join the team to begin producing quickly.  You should understand AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Containerization, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Python, relational databases, and Grafana.

You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Active U.S Government TS/SCI Security Clearance w/Poly
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Infrastructure / DevOps experience, or a Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience creating, editing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
• Experience working with containerized applications and container orchestration systems
• Scripting, automation, and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Existing or ability to obtain IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
  

Desired:

• Experience working with Infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
• Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and STIG hardening
• Familiarity with GitOps deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud networking and cloud security concepts
• Extensive experience with AWS technologies (EKS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, etc)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
