Staff Engineer

🎯 Role Overview

We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join a team that sits at the intersection of product development and consulting delivery.

We’re a bit different from a typical company. We build our own AI-powered products, while also working closely with clients to deliver real-world solutions. That means you’ll be exposed to a constant flow of ideas, challenges, and opportunities and you’ll help shape which ones actually turn into something real.

If you enjoy building fast, learning constantly, and working on things that don’t come with a predefined playbook, you’ll feel right at home.

🧩 What you will do

In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and iterate on full stack applications across multiple projects
• Contribute to both internal products and client-facing solutions, often at the same time
• Work primarily with TypeScript (frontend & backend), Python, React, PostgreSQL, and Azure Cloud, while staying open to new tools when they make sense
• Tools we use: CLIs, Docker Compose, Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT
• Move quickly from idea → prototype → validation → iteration (or discard)
• Collaborate closely with teammates across overlapping projects, sharing context and supporting each other
• Take ownership of problems: spot them early, propose solutions, and drive them through

• Fast iteration over perfection: we build, validate, and move on if something isn’t good enough
• AI is a tool, not a crutch: we actively use AI in our products and workflows, but we’re fully accountable for what we ship. Humans validate the output

🧠 What you will bring

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated Staff-level scope and technical leadership
• Strong experience building and shipping software across the stack
• Comfort operating in environments where you won’t know everything upfront and a willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently while staying aligned with a collaborative team
• Experience (or strong interest) in AI-driven products and systems
• A pragmatic mindset: you balance speed with quality and know when to go deeper
• Curiosity and flexibility to pick up new technologies as needed
