Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple small business clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity.
- Coordinate payroll processes including timesheet review, payroll entries, and reconciliations.
- Manage vendor records, W‑9 collection, and 1099 preparation.
- Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and financial work papers.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Communicate directly with clients to obtain missing information, resolve discrepancies, and support ongoing bookkeeping needs.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting recurring weekly, monthly, and year-end deadlines.

Technical Skills:
- Full‑cycle accounting — AP/AR, GL, Journal entries, Month‑End close.

- Cloud accounting systems — QuickBooks Online.
- Excel proficiency — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleanup.
- Payroll coordination — entries, reconciliations, compliance basics.
- 1099/W‑9 compliance — vendor setup, year‑end filings.
- Document management - digital workflow tools, audit ready files.
- Knowledge of sales tax account set-up and filings.
- Knowledge of payroll tax filings.

Qualifications:
Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Oracle's Net Suites a plus (not required).
