Sr. UX Designer I (6846)

As a Sr. UI/UX Designer II, you will provide UX/UI support and functions for an agile scrum team supporting a suite of web applications for a federal government partner, generating designs based on requirements from our customers, and refining those designs based on feedback from project leaders, developers, and other stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Attend all agile scrum ceremonies.
• Facilitate design research meetings.
• Create designs for new or enhanced features of web applications. 
• Work with project stakeholders to update and refine designs based on feedback.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 5+ years' experience as a UX Designer supporting a web-based application
• 5+ years' experience using design tools including Figma/FigJam to create userflows, prototypes, wireframes, and mockups
• 5+ years' experience conducting user research, testing designs with end users, synthesizing system data, presenting findings to different stakeholder groups, finding qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate designs, and providing recommendations for plain language
• 5+ years' experience developing UX artifacts supporting design research and architecture
• Experience using Atlassian suite of tools in support of large-scale development in a kanban or scrum environment
• Strong understanding of business requirements and how they impact design and a user's digital experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

SALARY RANGE:  $110,000 - $130,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: 

• The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
• The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
• Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
• This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
