We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to design and deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements, perform technical assessments, and ensure solutions meet quality and delivery standards. The role involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear communication on requirements and project progress, and contributing to system and process optimization through architecture improvements and re-engineering initiatives. The analyst will work within an Agile framework, support troubleshooting and issue resolution throughout implementation and operations, and provide post-implementation support to minimize business disruption. Additionally, the role requires maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team, and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solution delivery.

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience

Excellent communication skills.

Technical Skills

• Strong Data Engineering experience, including data modeling, data transformation, and data integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Python for data processing, querying, validation, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Experience with data mapping and transformation logic.
• Understanding of system architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and data integration patterns.
• Ability to read and interpret system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
• Experience with GitHub or other version control systems.
• Understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with secure data handling, particularly sensitive financial data and PII.

Business & Communication Skills:

• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• AWS certifications.
