As a Sr Frontend Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the core engineering team responsible for delivering high value features and products to our substantial client base. A solid candidate for this role will be expected to primarily focus on the front end, but will need to have enough exposure, willingness, and curiosity to cover the full stack by occasionally performing backend investigation and development within a distributed architecture. 

This position is remote within the United States with up to 10% travel as needed.

What You Will Do

• Build beautiful, snappy, and native-feeling UI experiences for next gen clinical workflows

• Be accountable for successful product deliverables 

• Be a leader on the team and mentor other developers as needed

• Collaborate closely with Product, Project Management, and Backend teams 

• Pair with UI/UX to create designs that are user-friendly and accessible

• Partner with multi-functional teams to define problems and design and scope solutions 

• Assist team in triaging bugs and resolving production issues 

Technologies We Use

• Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

• Frontend: React and React Testing Library, or similar

• Architecture: Backend for Frontend (BFF) and Micro-Frontend (MFE)

• Tooling: NPM and Webpack

• AI: Cursor, Claude, or similar

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience

• 6+ years of experience with our technology stack or an interest in our tools

• Experience setting up modern JavaScript application tooling (NPM, Webpack)

• Experience in profiling, monitoring, and improving frontend performance

• Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and put them into practice

What Will Set You Apart

• Interest in discovering and implementing improvements to our Frontend Architecture 

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and Rancher

The posted range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000, which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
