We are looking for a Senior Manager, Public Relations & Corporate Communications to lead the development and execution of CAI's public relations and corporate communications programs. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role owns the craft and quality of external and internal messaging — from press releases to award submissions and brand-aligned internal communications — while serving as CAI's primary day-to-day liaison with outside Public Relations agency. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do
Write, edit, and refine press releases, executive bylines, media pitches, and soundbite copy that reflect CAI's brand voice and business priorities
Develop action plans that translate PR and communications strategy into clear, time-bound execution steps
Collaborate closely with CAI's external Public Relations agency to develop and execute strategic PR initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand standards
Support internal communications efforts, ensuring messaging is consistent, timely, and aligned with CAI's brand messaging and core values
Research award and recognition opportunities, draft compelling submission narratives
Contribute to the continued success of established PR programs by identifying and introducing innovative, creative strategies and story angles
Partner with cross-functional groups across the organization — including Sales, HR, Operations, and executive leadership — on targeted programs and projects that enhance internal and external communication
Maintain current knowledge of emerging PR and communications trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend changes to programs, policies, or practices as appropriate
Manage, coach, and develop one direct report, setting priorities and reviewing work to ensure quality and consistency of output
Track and report on PR and communications performance metrics, sharing results and insights with the CMO and other stakeholders
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related discipline, ideally within a corporate or agency environment
Prior experience managing or mentoring a direct report or junior team member preferred
Experience managing the relationship with an external PR agency is required
Prior experience at a technology services company or in the SLED space is preferred
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across press releases, bylines, executive talking points, and internal communications
Strong project management skills, with the ability to build and execute action plans against multiple concurrent initiatives an deadlines
Sound news judgment and a demonstrated ability to identify and shape compelling stories and award-worthy achievements
A collaborative, relationship-driven approach to working with agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$135,000 - $155,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
