GMR is looking for a seasoned project management professional to join our growing team within the Enablement Office, a group focused on streamlining how we work and driving operational excellence across the agency. In this role, you’ll take the lead on end-to-end project management from concept to execution.

You will be the go-to person for ensuring everything stays on time, on budget, and on strategy. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams across the agency while overseeing all project phases and deliverables. This is a highly visible client-facing role that requires strong financial management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead teams through complex timelines and shifting priorities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Program Leadership. You’ll take the lead on managing complex, multi-workstream programs from planning and estimating to scoping and execution—partnering closely with internal teams, clients, and external sports stakeholders (teams/leagues, venues, talent, and rights-holders). You’ll be responsible for keeping projects on track financially and operationally, ensuring clear communication, role alignment, and smart risk management along the way. You’ll help improve how we work by identifying process gaps, driving continuous improvement, and supporting best practices across teams—especially for time-sensitive, event-led delivery.
  • Financial Acumen. You have experience managing and maintaining budgets, tracking estimates, and communicating financial check-ins or updates to collaborative partners—including sports partnership-specific line items such as rights fees, talent/appearance costs, venue/vendor labor, event-day staffing, travel, shipping, permits, and contingency. You can manage burn, forecast changes, and support invoice tracking and reconciliation across multiple partners.
  • Program Management. You’ll oversee every aspect of projects from end-to-end planning, resourcing, and execution—ensuring everything stays on track and within budget. That includes building estimates and SOWs with input from subject matter experts, managing workflows and changes, and proactively addressing risks or roadblocks. For sports partnership work, this also includes managing rights delivery and activation requirements (assets, approvals, and partner obligations), coordinating with venues and event operations, and driving game-day/event readiness across creative, production, digital, PR, and brand teams. Your ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day details will help shape clear roadmaps and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Sports Partnership & Activation Delivery. You bring hands-on experience managing large-scale U.S. sports partnerships—translating partnership strategy into executable plans, timelines, and run-of-show. You’re comfortable working within league/team/venue guidelines and approval processes, managing partner touchpoints, tracking contractual deliverables, and ensuring all obligations are met across on-site, digital, social, and hospitality components.
  • Integrated Agency Collaboration. You have experience leading work across integrated agency teams (e.g., creative, strategy, media, social, PR, production, digital, and experiential) and coordinating with external partners. You know how to align stakeholders around shared goals, clarify roles and responsibilities, streamline approvals, and keep multi-discipline teams moving together through fast-paced timelines.
  • Team Development. You’ll lead a team of project professionals, guiding their day-to-day work while supporting their long-term growth. As a manager and coach, you’ll help team members develop their skills, reach their goals, and stay aligned with GMR’s values. You’ll foster a culture of continuous learning, encourage fresh ideas, and ensure the team has the tools and support they need to succeed.
  • Dynamic. You’re a natural problem-solver who takes initiative, stays organized, and knows how to adapt when things change. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to keep things moving without losing sight of the details—especially when managing live moments, last-minute stakeholder requests, and event-day pivots.

The annual range for this role varies between $72,000- $85,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
