The Sr. Manager, Clinical Innovation leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from concept through implementation to improve patient outcomes and financial performance. This role involves managing vendor relationships, driving stakeholder alignment, and utilizing data analytics to optimize clinical programs.
Your Opportunity
The Sr. Manager, Clinical Innovation is a high-impact position that leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from concept through implementation. This role supports Clinical Innovation leadership in the effective development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical programs that enhance patient outcomes, improve care coordination, and meet financial performance targets.
The Sr. Manager, Clinical Innovation will guide complex initiatives from strategy and design through implementation, change management, performance measurement, and ongoing optimization. The work requires a high degree of cross functional communication and coordination across Clinical Services and Performance, Market Leadership, Analytics, Engineering, Legal and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Program Leadership
Lead strategy, oversight, and performance management of a portfolio of enterprise initiatives
Facilitate concept vetting and development sessions, synthesize and drive actions/follow ups.
Drive stakeholder alignment and executive decision-making.
Build rollout and adoption plans for new programs, including stakeholder communications, training materials, go-live support, and post-launch feedback loops.
Develop and communicate business requirements with cross-functional internal stakeholders
Manage day-to-day project tasks, driving execution of business priorities, and providing clear, ongoing communication on status, risks, and dependencies.
Maintain project/product roadmaps, tracking tools, and governance structures
Prepare status update templates and reports for internal and external communications, including Monthly Business Reviews, ACO Board report outs, and Board decks.
Change Management/Operational Excellence
Develop initiative playbooks, communication plans, and change management strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve, scale, and optimize programs and operational processes
Drive process improvement and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Analysis
Analyze data from a variety of sources, including large and complex clinical, operational, financial, and business datasets, to support strategy and programmatic decisions and recommendations.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop operational, financial, forecasting, and scenario models to support strategic decision-making.
Build compelling executive presentations and business cases.
Vendor Management
Serve as primary point of contact for vendors across the Clinical Innovation portfolio.
Monitor vendor performance against contracted KPIs and SLAs; maintain scorecards and run recurring performance reviews.
Support contracting and renewal activity — document scope, statements of work, KPIs/SLAs, and payment structures; partner with Legal, Finance, and Compliance through review cycles.
Manage vendor onboarding and offboarding, including implementation planning, access and compliance requirements, and transition of in-flight work.
Track and escalate vendor risk; validate invoices against delivery and ensure timely payment processing.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
5 years of experience working within the healthcare industry, ideally in value-based care, ACO, population health, or managed care settings.
Experience managing large-scale, complex programs and projects within a healthcare context.
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including financial modeling, forecasting, KPI development, business case creation, and scenario modeling.
Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on vendor management experience: administering executed agreements, monitoring SLA performance, and managing vendor relationships operationally.
Experience applying AI, automation, predictive analytics, or emerging technologies to solve business challenges and improve operational performance.
Skills & Competencies
Practical proficiency with LLM-based AI tools for documentation, synthesis, and analysis acceleration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in relevant fields (MHA, MPH, MBA, etc.)
Experience in management consulting, strategic consulting, or a similarly rigorous problem-solving environment.
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments
