Inova IT Administration is looking for a dedicated Sr. IT Operations Analyst to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day-shift working Monday – Friday.

 

The Sr. IT Operations Analyst leads the implementation and ongoing management of the Apptio platform. This role will be responsible for driving the TBM initiative by collaborating with IT, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology investments with business outcomes. The Program Manager will oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Apptio to deliver actionable insights into IT costs, performance, and value. Additionally, this individual will establish and maintain governance frameworks, manage data integrity, and provide guidance on TBM best practices to foster a culture of cost transparency and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Sr. IT Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Leads Apptio Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end deployment of the Apptio platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to timelines.
  • Partners with IT, finance, and business leaders to capture and translate requirements into actionable TBM solutions.
  • Manages the collection, integration, and maintenance of financial, operational, and consumption data for accurate Apptio reporting.
  • Establishes and maintains a robust Technology Business Management framework to provide transparency into IT spending and value delivery.
  • Creates governance processes to ensure data quality, tool accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Provides training and ongoing support to key users, ensuring effective adoption of the TBM program across the organization.
  • Continuously enhances Apptio configurations and reporting capabilities to meet evolving business needs and provide insights into cost optimization opportunities.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact with Apptio and other TBM-related vendors to ensure tool performance and resolve issues.
  • Serves as a TBM subject matter expert, advising leadership on best practices and strategic initiatives related to technology financial management.
  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of the TBM program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate’s degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
  • Experience: 4 years of progressive work experience in business management, project management or relevant IT or finance experience
