Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic oversight and continuous advancement of the Association’s portfolio of evidence-based care and support programs by directing interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the design, evaluation, implementation, and scaling of education and support services.
  • Oversee the operations, growth, and strategic evolution of the Association’s digital care and support ecosystem, including AlzConnected, Alzheimer’s Navigator, Community Resource Finder, and the Association’s portfolio of online education programs.
  • Provide leadership for early-stage engagement initiatives, including oversight of the Early Stage Advisory Group (ESAG) and other lived-experience stakeholder groups, ensuring the voices of individuals living with dementia inform program development, advocacy, and strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a national subject matter expert and spokesperson for the Association, representing the organization with media, funders, health systems, corporate partners, researchers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Drive strategic innovation in care and support services for individuals living with dementia, caregivers, and communities, including the exploration and implementation of emerging approaches and technologies such as artificial intelligence to enhance access, engagement, and outcomes. Act as a key lead and partner to fundraisers in raising revenue to support care and support initiatives.

 Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or higher in psychology, public health or other related degree
  • 7-10 Years in senior leadership role
  • 3-5 Years product development
  • 7-10 Years relationship management
  • 7-10 Years of supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of Alzheimer’s/dementia and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Understanding of community-based services for individuals and families/caregivers.
  • Strong understanding of product development and implementation.
  • A keen desire to learn and keep up to date on the latest trends in adult learning and
  • community based service delivery.

  • Able to cultivate and grow working relationships with internal and external stakeholders who collaborate
  • on Association initiatives or would benefit from Association care and support and quality care products.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to see how to leverage existing or create new assets to reach
  • objectives in the strategic plan.
  • Able to collaborate with subject matter experts cross-functionally to identify opportunities, establish goals, plan required resources and build, price and promote products.

Position Grade & Compensation: Grade 513 The Alzheimer's Association’s good faith expectation for the salary range for this role is between $ $170,000–$195,00.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on both individual and organizational performance, up to 6%.
