Sr Delphi Developer

The Senior Delphi Developer is a key role within Engineering Team 2K90, responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of applications driven by this object-oriented, visual programming environment. This role plays an instrumental role in defining, improving, and implementing the internal processes, development methodologies, and programming standards related to the system’s entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building high-quality, reusable, and reliable Delphi code.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs in the code base and devising optimal solutions.
• Leading the development of complex software systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and stability.
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and secure coding practices.
• Providing technical guidance and coaching to the development team, promoting an open and communicative working environment.
• Taking ownership of system testing and validation procedures, ensuring all system outputs are entirety, accurate, and meet the defined business needs.
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends and upcoming technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Delphi application development.
• Detailed understanding of Delphi programming principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using and building APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and their interfacing with Delphi applications.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
