What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health
Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.

Talent Acquisition attracts, identifies and acquires skilled labor to support business needs and develops strategies for growing the organization's talent pool. This family evaluates and screens talent using skills assessments, testing and reference checking, and manages internal and external job advertising and posting. This family also manages relationships with third party recruiting agencies, prospects talent at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions, and manages new employee induction.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting in the selection and hiring of talent for Cardinal Health. This would include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the candidate interview process including all scheduling, administrative and logistical details for the hiring manager and staffing agency.
  • Facilitate the candidate on-boarding process by initiating offer and working closely with staffing agencies to facilitate pre-employment requirements. Ability to provide feedback and guidance to both suppliers/vendors as well as internal hiring teams
  • Responsible for managing administrative duties in VMS tool (Magnit)
  • Manage the onboarding process for contract and temporary labor


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Advanced Computer Skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a high pace manner
  • Understanding of Vendor Management System (VMS), preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables

Anticipated hourly range: $23.10 per hour – $28.89 per hour
