Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets (SBA 7(a))
Location: Hybrid / Remote

We specialize in loans backed by commercial real estate, including agency, multifamily, investor and bridge as well as SBA 7(a) business loans. We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets (SBA 7(a)) to join the Treasury/Capital Markets team. This role will support the execution and ongoing management of SBA 7(a) loan financing activities, including loan pledging, collateral reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external financing counterparties. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment. Open to employees in the NY/NJ/CT area as a hybrid role, reporting into our mid-town Manhattan office, or remote for qualified candidates in other states.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day SBA 7(a) loan pledging processes, including collateral eligibility review, borrowing base support, and timely delivery of pledge files.
• Maintain collateral and financing data sets; produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for warehouse lenders and internal stakeholders.
• Support execution of SBA 7(a) capital markets activities, including loan financing and secondary market-related workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Origination, Credit, Operations, Legal, and Servicing to resolve data exceptions, cure documentation items, and keep funding/financing timelines on track.
• Interface with financing counterparties to address information requests and ensure accurate, consistent communication.
• Identify opportunities to streamline pledging and reporting processes; help implement controls to improve accuracy and scalability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, warehouse lending, SBA lending, or related financial services roles.
• Familiarity with SBA 7(a) loans, secondary market execution, and/or loan financing structures strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of loan data, collateral eligibility, and financing mechanics; ability to reconcile exceptions with high accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets; strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:
The annual full-time salary range for this role is:
$75,000 - $90,000
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and performance. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, performance and approval.
