Overview
Due to growth, we are adding a Specialist II, Clinical Engagement to our team.
The Specialist II, Clinical Engagement serves as a key member of the Clinical Engagement Center (CEC) team, responsible for delivering high-quality clinical engagement through telephonic medication consultations, health education, and care coordination. This position reflects demonstrated knowledge and/or proficiency in core CEC programs and sustained adherence to quality and productivity metrics. In addition, this position collaborates with CEC staff to maintain a high-quality and consistent Medication Therapy Management (MTM) product, leads workflow and process improvement efforts, and ensures operational scalability. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an up-to-date library of workflow processes and actively participating in onboarding and training new associates through mentorship and sharing clinical expertise. The Specialist II will report to the Supervisor, CEC Operations, as well as interact with other CEC Operations leaders.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Handle patient cases within programs by using advanced professional judgment within protocols to assess risks, and to decide on resolution or escalation independently.
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic medication consultations and health education using advanced reasoning to improve adherence, close therapy gaps, and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Apply a broad understanding of Navitus client programs and the member experience to identify systemic gaps and strategies that support population health and wellness initiatives
- Independently assess and resolve for members, the complex barriers to medication access, affordability, and healthcare navigation for additional CEC programs by leveraging benefits knowledge, and community or client-specific resources.
- Provide mentorship, onboarding support, and subject matter expertise to promote clinical quality and team effectiveness.
- Evaluate medication data and provide informed member guidance while meeting productivity standards.
- Exercise professional judgment in routine to moderately complex situations, works with moderate independence, and seeks guidance primarily for exceptions.
- Partner with leadership to implement and optimize clinical programs and initiatives that support Star ratings, quality metrics, and overall program performance.

Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required. State Pharmacy Technician license required where applicable.
- 4 years of patient-centered support or clinical program execution in a healthcare or pharmacy setting required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a telephonic clinical care setting while consistently meeting established quality and productivity benchmarks required.
- 1 year of experience evaluating medication data and providing informed member guidance while meeting productivity standards required.
- Experience providing effective mentoring and training support to peers, serving as a knowledgeable resource for core operational responsibilities required.
- 1 year of experience contributing to workflow and process improvement efforts, including identifying gaps and trends, recommending practical solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, and clinical outcomes, and supporting team-level implementation required.
- Proven track record of strong professional and operational judgment by independently resolving member cases while accurately applying protocols, program knowledge, and professional expertise required.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Pay Range
USD $21.05 - USD $25.06 /Hr.
