Location: We have 3 vacancies that will cover -  North, South and Central Region so you can be based in any of these parts in the country
Fully-Remote roles that will require frequent store travel

This isn't your typical L&D training role. You'll be at the heart of our BOOTS OPTICIANS store transformation programme, partnering with Store Leaders and colleagues to ensure they have the skills, confidence, and capability to thrive before, during, and after major store transformations. This is a permanent full time field based role

What you’ll be doing

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Deliver impactful learning interventions that align with our business priorities and support store transformation projects.

• Coach and develop Store Leaders and colleagues, helping them navigate change with confidence.

• Identify skills gaps and create tailored learning solutions that drive measurable results.

• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure our teams have the tools and knowledge to provide exceptional customer care.

• Track the effectiveness of learning activities, helping stores realise their full potential post-refit.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• Proven experience in opticians retail, coaching, and performance development, ideally in a multi-site environment.

• Strong understanding of sales techniques and excellence in customer service.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your training style to diverse needs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in commercial acumen, linking training needs to business results.

• A resilient and adaptable approach, comfortable working with ambiguity.

• Effective time management and strong planning skills.
