Spanish Tutor (K–12) – Prep Academy Tutors, Boise, Idaho

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Tutor to join our team in Boise, Idaho. We are a private in-home and online tutoring company committed to delivering flexible, personalized, and high-quality educational support to students and their families.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Spanish tutor to support K–12 students at varying levels of proficiency, from beginners to advanced learners. The ideal candidate is passionate about language education, culturally aware, and skilled at adapting lessons to meet individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one Spanish tutoring sessions (in-home and/or online)
• Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s goals and learning style
• Support students with homework, test preparation, and language skill development (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
• Foster confidence and a positive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain professionalism and reliability in all interactions

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency preferred)
• Experience teaching or tutoring K–12 students
• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel to students’ homes in the Boise area or teach virtually
• Teaching certification is an asset but not required
