Overview :
The Solutions Architect – Data & Analytics is responsible for designing end-to-end data and analytics solutions that align business objectives with scalable, secure, and modern technology architectures. This role plays a critical part in pre-sales, solution shaping, and delivery alignment, ensuring high-quality, value-driven outcomes for clients.
The Solutions Architect partners closely with sales, portfolio leads, delivery teams, and clients to translate requirements into robust architectures across cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end data and analytics architectures aligned to client business needs
- Define solution blueprints across:
- Data ingestion and integration
- Cloud data platforms and lakes
- Analytics, BI, and visualization
- Advanced analytics and AI use cases
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective
Pre-Sales & Deal Support
- Partner with sales and portfolio leaders during pre-sales and pursuit activities
- Lead discovery workshops to understand business objectives, data challenges, and success criteria
- Shape solution approaches, architecture narratives, and technical sections of proposals
- Support effort estimation, solution sizing, and risk identification
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders and architects
- Communicate complex technical concepts in business-relevant terms
- Collaborate with client teams to align architecture decisions with enterprise standards and roadmaps
Delivery Alignment & Governance
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure architecture-to-execution alignment
- Support program and delivery leads during solution onboarding and critical milestones
- Review designs and implementation approaches to ensure architectural integrity
- Assist in resolving complex technical challenges and escalations
Innovation & Practice Enablement
- Contribute to the development of practice accelerators, reference architectures, and solution assets
- Stay current with emerging data, analytics, and AI technologies
- Support innovation initiatives and continuous improvement within the Data & Analytics Practice
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Collaborate with architects across cloud, integration, security, and application domains
- Share best practices, lessons learned, and architectural patterns across teams
- Support mentoring and capability development within the practice
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies
Data & Analytics Technology
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience across:
- Cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Data warehousing and data lake architectures
- BI and analytics platforms
- Advanced analytics and AI/ML ecosystems
- Solid understanding of data integration, governance, security, and quality
Architecture & Consulting
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to influence architecture decisions across cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 12-15 years of experience in data and analytics solution design and delivery
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data programs
- Cloud or data platform certifications preferred
