About the Job

As a Solution Architect – Banking at Aspire, you will leverage your extensive IT and banking experience to design scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions that support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. You will translate business requirements into end-to-end solution architectures, lead integrations across core banking systems, digital banking channels, APIs, and payment platforms, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to deliver robust and efficient banking solutions.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into end-to-end solution architectures.
  

• Design solution architectures, system integrations, technical specifications, and architecture diagrams.
  

• Lead integration initiatives across core banking systems, digital banking channels, APIs, payment platforms, and third-party applications.
  

• Ensure solution designs meet security, scalability, performance, availability, and regulatory requirements.
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors throughout solution design and implementation.
  

• Evaluate technology solutions, identify architectural risks, and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives and technology strategy.
  

• Define integration approaches and ensure effective communication and data exchange between banking applications and external systems.
  

• Ensure solution architectures align with enterprise architecture standards, banking processes, and technical best practices.
  

• Support architecture governance and contribute to technical design reviews and solution validation.
  

• Identify opportunities to modernize banking systems, improve operational efficiency, and enhance digital banking capabilities.
  

• Provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to the approved architecture.
  

• Support the delivery of banking initiatives related to digital banking, payments, lending, and customer onboarding.
  

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  

• 9+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in Solution Architecture.
  

• Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services sector.
  

• Strong understanding of banking systems, business processes, and digital banking solutions.
  

• Proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise application integration.
  

• Hands-on experience designing and integrating APIs, microservices, and middleware solutions.
  

• Experience integrating core banking systems, digital banking channels, payment platforms, and third-party applications.
  

• Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, availability, and regulatory requirements in banking environments.
  

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  

• Experience collaborating with development teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making skills.
  

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an advantage.
  

• Experience in core banking modernization, digital banking, payments, lending, or customer onboarding solutions is preferred.
  

• Experience in architecture governance and banking system integration is an advantage.
  

• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards such as ISO/SOC or similar.
