Role Description

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the integrity and reliability of our customers' software through verification processes. This means following the technical documentation provided with each deposit to determine whether a successful build of the software can be achieved, and, where required, performing additional feature testing to confirm the software functions as intended. This role involves analyzing technical documentation, executing successful software builds in various programming languages, and validating software functionality against specified requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

Software Verification

• Conduct verification of customer software using provided technical documentation

• Achieve software builds across various programming languages

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve build issues, ensuring software meets quality standards

• Perform additional feature testing where required to confirm the built software behaves as documented

Technical Analysis and Problem Solving

• Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to understand build processes and dependencies

Collaboration and Communication

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand requirements and provide updates

Continuous Learning and Improvement

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to software verification

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification processes and practices

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of software development experience (beneficial)

• 2+ years of experience with Linux, Windows and Mac environment fundamentals

• Basic understanding of popular backend languages (Python, Java, NodeJS and PHP)

• Prior experience or understanding of database- and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL)

• Prior experience or understanding of Git

• Basic knowledge of front-end languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript beneficial

• Basic knowledge of API configuration beneficial

• Ability to follow technical build documentation accurately and methodically

• Experience with various build tools, like (but not specifically) msbuild, webpack, maven, and others of the type beneficial
