Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering flawless software? At Input 1, we’re looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst who will ensure that our software solutions are accurate, efficient, and ready for production.

In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and management to identify and resolve bugs, document findings, and help ensure Input 1’s software consistently meets the needs of our business and clients.

Position: Software QA Analyst (Manual Testing) — Fully Remote

Pay and Logistics:

• Pay: $36.00 - $48.00/hour, paid bi-weekly.
• Logistics: This is a fully remote, hourly-paid position. You will need to provide your own equipment (laptop, reliable internet, webcam, headset).

What You'll Do:

• Design, execute, and document manual test cases and scenarios.
• Validate data and back-end results using SQL.
• Log, track, and triage defects within Jira.
• Collaborate with business clients and developers to align on requirements and fixes.
• Create clear test evidence and documentation.
• Manage your workload and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of solid manual software testing experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and Jira in a manual testing environment.
• Primary experience is with manual testing methodologies (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT).
• Proven experience documenting test cases, steps, results, and defects.
• Experience working directly with business clients/stakeholders.
• Prior success working in a fully remote, hourly role.
