What You'll Be Doing

As a Team Lead, you'll sit at the intersection of technology, leadership, and innovation.

You'll:

• Lead a talented engineering team, helping them grow their skills and careers.
• Drive the delivery of critical products and features that serve millions of customers.
• Partner with Product Owners, Analysts, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
• Champion engineering excellence through modern development practices and continuous improvement.
• Create an environment where collaboration, innovation, and ownership thrive.
• Influence technical decisions that shape the future of Mukuru's Financial Services platform.

You're someone who enjoys building both software and people.

Your Experience

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams
• Strong PHP development expertise
• Experience with Symfony or similar frameworks
• Deep understanding of microservices and scalable architecture
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design principles
• Agile delivery experience within cross-functional teams
• Strong Git/GitHub/GitLab knowledge
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A natural ability to mentor, coach, and inspire engineers
