ABOUT THE TEAM 

Technology is at the core of what we do. Basis Technologies' innovative Engineering team designs and develops new features and integrations for Basis, our industry-leading, comprehensive software solution. Our platform processes over 300 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process. 

Our standard is high quality. Our team is in charge of designing backend testing frameworks, expanding continuous integration tools, and developing internal microservices in order to reduce manual efforts and to increase quality. Our team’s tech stack includes Java, JUnit, Spring, RESTful API, Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and more. The team uses Claude Code daily as part of our development workflow.

WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE  

You will have an opportunity to participate in the creation of a framework that will be used to test our products for many years to come. Bring your testing expertise to the game and you’ll get the opportunity to work with best engineers in AdTech on the latest tools and technologies. You will also contribute by:

  • Delivering timely results based on team's deadlines. 
  • Designing clear, maintainable and scalable testing projects 
  • Maintaining transparency and clarity about project testing through documentation and communication with stakeholders 
  • Performing meaningful code reviews 
  • Researching new technologies and their potential benefit to our projects 
  • Being responsible for design and execution of a complex automated testing platform of a real-time, high-throughput ecosystem 
  • Delivering optimized code and deal with interesting scalability challenges 
  • Being the voice of quality in highly collaborative agile product teams. 
  • Making sure that each deployment to production is of highest quality 


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals 
  • 2+ years of Java, multithreading, micro-services architecture. 
  • Coding skills and experience in Java, Spring, JUnit
  • Understanding of Agile SDLC and CI/CD 
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported. 
  • Thoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning. 


BONUS POINTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering 
  • Experience with creating testing backend automation solutions using Claude Code and Google Cloud Platform
  • Excited by a fast-paced product development environment.

$90,020 - $140,430 a year
This salary range reflects a typical compensation range for the role and level in most U.S. locations. Final compensation offered will depend on your location, experience, and skills. Total compensation may also include bonuses, equity, and competitive benefits.
