The Software Engineer II will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, React, and Microsoft Azure. They will also manage CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 2 months
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, React, and Microsoft Azure.
Build and enhance front-end and back-end application components, APIs, and system integrations.
Support cloud application development, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps processes using Terraform, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and implement technical solutions.
Prepare technical specifications, application documentation, test plans, and project estimates.
Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, operations, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Follow secure coding practices, development standards, and applicable risk and regulatory requirements.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Required:
Associate degree and 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 7 years, including 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, React, and Microsoft Azure.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, or AKS.
Familiarity with .NET, Angular, and JavaScript.
Experience with application development, software testing, debugging, system integration, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple development tasks and meet project deadlines.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Experience with cloud-native applications, enterprise application architecture, and integrated systems.
Familiarity with banking applications, business processes, and enterprise application frameworks.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, automated deployments, and application performance optimization.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in an Agile or cross-functional development environment.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $46.64 - $77.74/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
