Requirements

Software Development Candidate Requirements

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering from a reputable university (Computer Science degrees are not preferred).
  
• Strong mathematical background, with proven experience developing and implementing complex numerical algorithms.
  
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience using C++.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work on medium-scale scientific, engineering, or simulation software projects.
  
• Fluent in both Russian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively within the GMT time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Petroleum Engineering or in the development of software applications for the oil and gas industry.
  
• Familiarity with optimization techniques and physics-based modeling.
  
• Experience with modern C++ standards, software architecture, and engineering best practices.
  
• Experience with Java.
