Our client, a fashion (clothing) company based in Calgary, Canada, is hiring a Social Media & Multimedia Marketing Specialist to strengthen their brand’s digital presence. This remote role is ideal for a creative and results-driven professional with experience in content creation, digital design, video editing, and marketing research, especially within the real estate industry.
You must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and effectively collaborate within Canadian business hours (Mountain Time).
Key Responsibilities 1- Social Media Management
- Develop and manage content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Create posts with strategic captions, hashtags, and trending audio
- Monitor engagement, respond to audience comments, and track analytics for growth
- Run basic paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
2- Graphic Design & UI/UX
- Design high-quality visuals for brand promotions, and digital campaigns
- Create user-friendly landing pages, email templates, and forms using Figma or Adobe XD
- Ensure consistent and modern brand visuals across all channels
3- Video Content Production
- Edit video tours, Reels, testimonials, and branded content
- Apply branding elements, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects
- Optimize content for mobile and desktop viewing
4- Marketing Research & Insights
- Conduct research on social media trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences
- Provide actionable insights to enhance digital marketing strategies
- Track emerging trends in the fashion industry
- Recommend new tools, platforms, or strategies to increase brand visibility
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Marketing Research, or related field
- Prior experience in the fashion industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with AI tools video or design tools is mandatory
Technical Skills
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, design, and marketing research
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Pro
- Meta Business Suite or equivalent tools
- Skilled in short-form video editing for TikTok/Reels
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or email marketing platforms
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and analytical
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results
- Ability to work remotely during Mountain Time hours
- Passion for fashion, branding, and data-driven marketing
Benefits
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with Mountain Time (Canada)
Compensation: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000
Location: Remote (Preferably reside in Lagos, Nigeria)
