Social Media & Content Marketing Intern

This is a remote position.

Role Overview  

As a Social Media & Content Marketing Intern, you will assist the Marketing Manager with daily social media activities, content ideas, trend research, basic content creation and community engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, understands online trends, and is keen to learn how content marketing works in a real business environment.

Responsibilities  

• Keep social media channels active on a daily basis through stories, comments, replies, reposts, and DMs.
  

• Track social media activities across all brands/channels and keep the Marketing Manager updated.
  

• Stay on top of trending and hot content in our niche, as well as general office and BTS-style content to suggest fresh/trendy content ideas.
  

• Draft blogs, copies for visual content, short video scripts, and captions.
  

• Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for content generation support and idea development.
  

• Create basic visual content using tools like Canva.
  

• Support basic video/reel editing when required.
  

• Community management and audience engagement.
  

• Assist the Marketing Manager in developing social media strategies for each channel and brand.
  

Requirements

• Good understanding of platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
  

• Strong interest in social media trends, reels, memes, and online content.
  

• Basic content writing skills.
  

• Comfortable using AI tools for content ideas and content creation.
  

• Basic knowledge of Canva or willingness to learn.
  

• Creative, curious, and proactive.
  

• Good communication skills.
  

• Organised and able to work remotely.
  

• Ability to follow instructions and give regular updates.
  

• Strong interest and intent to learn.
  

Good To Have  

• Experience in managing social media pages.
  

• Experience in writing blogs.
  

• Basic graphic designing and video editing experience.
  

• Interest in AI, business, marketing, startups, or digital content.
  

• Social media savvy, with experience in creating trendy social media content.
