The Social Media Analyst will execute the content calendar across English, Spanish, and Portuguese channels to drive engagement and brand growth. They are responsible for briefing creative teams, monitoring performance metrics, and adapting content to ensure it resonates with diverse global audiences.
At Worldpackers, we believe that travel can transform people - and transformed people can transform the world. ✨
Since 2014, we’ve been building a global community of conscious travelers and welcoming hosts, enabling meaningful connections and thousands of collaborative experiences around the world.
Our purpose is rooted in connection. We exist to foster personal growth, cultural exchange, and a more socially and environmentally sustainable world through travel.
Respect, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning guide everything we do. Being part of Worldpackers — as a traveler, host, or team member — means being part of a diverse, global community where different perspectives are valued and discriminatory behavior has no place.
Being part of Worldpackers means working with purpose - helping more people experience transformative journeys through connection.
We're looking for a Social Media Analyst to own the day-to-day voice and performance of Worldpackers' main brand across English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This is our biggest combined audience, spanning three culturally distinct markets, and it's a role for someone who loves turning a content strategy into posts that actually perform — not just fill a calendar.
You'll work from a content framework and calendar that our Social Media Strategist sets, and your job is to bring it to life: adapting it for each market, keeping an eye on what's working, and flagging what isn't. You'll be working closely with the Strategist to figure out where to focus each cycle.
Own the channels: Instagram EN, ES, and PT today, plus any new main-brand channel that comes online (YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and beyond).
Bring the calendar to life: execute the content calendar across all three languages, adapting each post to feel native to that market — not a straight translation.
Chase real engagement: prioritize quality and meaningful interaction over just hitting a posting quota.
Brief the creative team: identify what assets your calendar needs and request them with enough lead time — you brief and direct, you don't produce.
Direct creators: brief and guide the creators working on Membership content, using the templates and cadence already in place.
Report on performance: track engagement rate, saves, shares, and reach for each market every cycle, and flag issues early — especially anything affecting Spanish or Portuguese.
Keep an ear out: monitor brand mentions and conversation across the three accounts for trends, sentiment, and anything that needs a response, routing it to the right person.
Use the stack: work daily in Sprout Social, ManyChat, and LinkTree (or whatever tools we adopt next).
1–3 years running branded social media accounts with real engagement or growth goals to hit.
Fluent English, plus Spanish or Portuguese — with working comfort in the third language, or a solid plan to get there. Ideally you're strong in at least two of the three.
Comfortable reading performance data and adjusting content based on what the numbers tell you, not just posting on schedule.
Experience briefing external creators or freelancers against a content calendar.
Experience with a membership or subscription-style brand, rather than a launch- or campaign-driven one.
Hands-on familiarity with Sprout Social, ManyChat, or similar tools.
Background in travel, work-exchange, or marketplace brands.
