Social Content Designer – Instagram, LinkedIn & Brand Creative | Remote

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours
Function: Creative / Social Media Design

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Social Content Designer with strong visual taste and the ability to turn an existing library of photography, brand assets, and creative direction into polished, ready-to-publish social content.

You won’t be starting from a blank canvas. The brand direction and assets will be provided. Your job is to consistently transform them into high-quality Instagram and LinkedIn posts, graphics, and carousels, while maintaining a backlog of finished creative that is ready to post.

This role is ideal for a designer who understands social-first design, visual consistency, and how to work efficiently within an established brand.

What You’ll Own

Social Content Design

  • Design polished content for Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Create single-image posts, graphics, and multi-slide carousels
  • Turn existing photography and brand assets into engaging social creative
  • Translate provided creative direction into finished designs
  • Maintain consistent visual quality across all social content
  • Adapt creative for different social formats and placements

Brand & Visual Consistency

  • Work within established brand guidelines and creative direction
  • Maintain consistency across typography, layout, imagery, and visual hierarchy
  • Use strong design judgment to elevate existing assets
  • Ensure every piece of content feels cohesive with the broader brand
  • Organize and reuse brand assets efficiently without making content feel repetitive

Content Production & Backlog

  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of completed social creative
  • Build and maintain a backlog of finished content ready to publish
  • Manage multiple creative requests simultaneously
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently and accurately
  • Keep design files and creative assets organized
  • Deliver finished assets in the appropriate formats for social publishing

Requirements

  • Professional experience in graphic design, social media design, content design, or a similar creative role
  • Strong visual taste and attention to detail
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality social media or digital design work
  • Experience designing content for Instagram and/or LinkedIn
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to work effectively from existing creative direction and brand assets
  • Comfortable producing content consistently and at volume
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a creative backlog
  • Ability to receive feedback and translate it quickly into polished creative

Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience with Figma
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience designing social media carousels
  • Familiarity with designing for both Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience working within established brand systems
  • Ability to work effectively with large photography and creative asset libraries

What Makes You a Strong Fit

You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a naturally strong eye for design
  • Can take existing assets and make them feel polished and intentional
  • Understand what makes social content visually engaging
  • Are particularly strong at designing clean, compelling carousels
  • Can follow established creative direction without requiring detailed instructions for every asset
  • Care about typography, spacing, hierarchy, and consistency
  • Work quickly without sacrificing visual quality
  • Enjoy maintaining an organized pipeline of finished creative
  • Can produce consistently strong work rather than relying on occasional standout designs

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You may start by reviewing the existing content backlog and upcoming creative needs, then select photography and brand assets to turn into Instagram or LinkedIn content.

Throughout the day, you’ll design posts and carousels in Figma, Illustrator, or Photoshop, incorporate feedback, prepare final assets, and organize completed creative so there is always content ready to publish.

In short: we provide the direction and assets; you turn them into polished social content and keep the content pipeline full.
