Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/x)

To strengthen our Product Gameserver Team, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/x) to join us as soon as possible and actively shape our area of expertise.
As an SRE (m/f/x), you will be the architect and defender of our infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and stability – so that millions of players can enjoy a seamless gaming experience at all times.

Your mission

Cluster Master: You are responsible for the smooth and highly available operation of our Kubernetes clusters. You scale, maintain, and optimize the environment where countless gaming adventures take place.
Latency and Bug Hunter: You ensure the smooth operation of our Go-based Kubernetes operators and other services. Performance optimization and bug tracking are like an exciting quest for you, all to guarantee the best possible experience for our players.
Terraform Architect: You design the blueprint for our infrastructure using Terraform. Through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you create an automated and reproducible foundation on which our customers can build their own digital kingdoms.
Ansible Master: Repetitive manual tasks are your ultimate challenge. With Ansible, you automate configuration management, deployments, and everything else that gets in your way, helping you create a stable and consistent environment.
Guardian of performance: You develop and maintain our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., using Prometheus & Grafana) to detect problems before they lead to a "game over."

Your profile

Kubernetes veteran: You have in-depth, hands-on experience operating, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
Infrastructure as Code is your credo: You are fluent in Terraform and have already built and managed complex infrastructures with it.
Automation in your blood: You have strong knowledge of Ansible and use it to eliminate manual processes and increase efficiency.
A passion for stability: You think in terms of concepts like SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets and are passionate about building highly available and resilient systems.
Go experience: You have experience developing with Go and love the language for its efficiency and concurrency. Ideally, you have experience with Kubernetes operators.
Gamer mindset: You understand what gamers expect from a perfect platform.
