The developer will redesign SharePoint site templates and deploy Power Apps to improve data intake and business processes. They will also build reusable component libraries and consolidate data into Power BI reports to support FEMA stakeholders.
GovCIO is currently hiring for an experienced Sharepoint/Power Platform Developerto support our newly awarded FEMA contract. This position will be located in the United States and is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders on new project requests and map current business processes and pain points.
Redesign current site templates and layouts using modern SPO capabilities, built mobile-first.
Evaluate and deploy Power Apps for consistent, accurate data intake.
Redesign request, approval, and notification flows to reduce manual handoffs between program offices.
Build a reusable component library (page templates, forms, flow patterns) to speed future builds and simplify maintenance.
Consolidate cross-directorate data into personalized Power BI views for pertinent stakeholders.
Stand up a governance site or Teams channel with direct links to current DHS and FEMA policy and guidance.
Analyze existing directorate sites and data to identify opportunities for Term Sets, content types, templates, Hub Sites, and search-based roll-ups.
Advise on Dataverse for relational data supporting Power Platform solutions and Power BI reporting.
Document current risk concerns, data modeling, and compliance posture with FEMA Privacy and governance offices.
Develop Resilience-specific data management best practices and train power users on applying them in daily operations.
Publish governance articles that keep data-quality practices visible to end users rather than buried in policy documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with SharePoint and MS Dynamics development/design experience
Clearance Required: Must be able to attain and maintain a FEMA Public Trust
