Responsible for managing daily production (file flow) of designated department, which may include one or more of the following functions: human resources, customer service, and promoting positive influence over Setup Analysts.

This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for implementing new business development
  • Responsible for directing employees in their day-to-day operations
  • Sets department goals, including individual potential
  • Challenges employees to meet and exceed expectations
  • Professionally communicates with other offices and internal departments
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance and commitment to work overtime as required
  • Assures employees adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for all human resources matters for designated department, including addressing any performance issues in a timely, consistent manner
  • Provides monthly report to individual reports, to be used as a learning tool
  • Track improvement / assist when needed
  • Requires regular attendance at and participation in bi-monthly management meeting
  • Maintain client files
  • Maintain resources (training manuals) used in daily function
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications and performance of duties and ensure designated department complies with HIPAA standards
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
  • Assist co-workers or management in accomplishing production goals
  • Assist in training
  • May perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports
  • Participate in training sessions with management or IT
  • Participate in sales tour by way of demonstrating department function
  • Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a business office environment
  • Supervisory experience a plus

 

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $16.36 - $26.31 per hour
