Job Summary We are seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Developer with deep expertise in Software Asset Management Pro (SAM Pro). The ideal candidate will focus on advanced scripting, workflow automation, third-party discovery integrations, and optimizing backend reconciliation engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain complex Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions within the SAM application.
  

• Design and implement automated software request and reclamation workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
  

• Create Service Catalog items for software requests with complex client-side validations.
  

• Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, JAMF, and third-party inventory integrations.
  

• Build REST/SOAP integrations to connect ServiceNow with external publisher portals and procurement systems.
  

• Optimize background jobs, reconciliation engines, and scheduled scripts; support platform upgrades.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on ITAM/SAM.
  

• High proficiency in JavaScript and the ServiceNow API framework.
  

• Deep technical understanding of SAM Pro data models, Software Installation tables, Discovery Models, and Software Models.
  

• Strong experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and IntegrationHub steps.
  

• Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).
  

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
