SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- Work on assigned user stories, including design, development, testing, and deployment of features primarily within the SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.
- Build and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of developed functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and clarify use cases.
- Demonstrate completed features and solutions to users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to development efforts using JavaScript (ServiceNow)
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer (ITSM)
- 2+ years of experience in JavaScript within ServiceNow.
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Good communication skills
Complementary Competencies (Nice-to-have)
- Software Development background or experience
- Experience with GitLab or similar version control and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with DevOps practices
- Experience in Testing, or ATF (Automated Testing Framework).
- Interest in learning network technologies and processes.
- Exposure to telecommunications domain or network-related systems.
- Proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work consistently, meet deadlines, and actively engage with the team daily.
