About Repair the World:

Repair the World mobilizes Jews and their communities to take action to pursue a just world. We believe that service in support of social change is vital to a flourishing Jewish community and an inspired Jewish life. By 2030, Repair will inspire and catalyze one million acts of service towards repairing the world.

Repair is building a national Jewish service movement of flourishing Jewish communities that serve in pursuit of a just world. Repair mobilizes young adults to serve in their communities, catalyzes service through deep partnerships within Jewish communal organizations, and inspires people to take action through time-bound thematic national service campaigns. Our mission provides volunteers with an increased connection to meaningful service and learning as a Jewish value, builds capacity for nonprofit partners to meet their missions, and deepens connections across lines of difference.

Position Overview

Repair the World is looking for an organized, detail-oriented early-career professional to support the day-to-day operations of our service corps program. This role keeps the moving pieces of the corps member experience on track — from onboarding and paperwork through hours tracking, surveys, and stipend payments — and brings that work into one place so Repair staff can stay focused on participants and partners.

You’ll be the connector across Repair’s local staff, and cross-functional departments including finance, operations, and data team, making sure deadlines are met, records are accurate, and communication to corps members is timely and clear. Much of this work lives across Salesforce, Monday.com, Adobe Sign, and Bill.com, so comfort moving between systems and a steady eye for detail go a long way.

This is also a chance to make that work lighter. You'll help spot where AI tools and automated workflows can take the repetitive parts of our admin and ops systems off people's plates, and help build them in. You'll also use AI tools, including Claude, to speed up drafting and participant communications — so more of your time goes to the judgment calls and follow-through that actually need a person.

This is a full-time non-exempt temporary role through December 23, 2026. The Communities Operations Associate will report to the Senior Director of Community Impact and work closely with other members of the programs team.

About the Service Corps

The Service Corps is Repair's part-time immersive service and learning experience for young adults. Corps members serve with a local partner organization on a recurring basis and come together in a cohort for Jewish learning and reflection alongside the work. The experience rests on three things we know drive its impact: consistent, immersive direct service with a partner; a cohort community where members build real relationships with their peers; and meaningful Jewish learning that gives the work roots. It's service as an ongoing practice — showing up, building trust, and making a difference over time — rather than a one-off volunteer shift.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Confirmation

  • Monitor the service corps application pipeline in Salesforce and work with local staff to keep applicant and corps member records current as they move from applied through confirmed.

  • Track completion of onboarding paperwork — signed agreements, banking, and tax forms handled through Adobe Sign — and follow up on anything outstanding.

  • Add confirmed corps members to the city-specific payment tracking boards in Monday.com and confirm completed paperwork reaches the finance inbox.

  • Support a smooth experience from acceptance through a corps member’s first weeks.

Data, Hours & Surveys

  • Track service hours logged in Salesforce and communicate with local staff if any corps members are behind to help them catch up.

  • Support local staff in monthly cohort time data uploads, including learning engagements from partner cohorts that are tracked outside Salesforce.

  • Work with the Data Team to track pre- and post-program survey completion, and follow up with Repair staff regarding any corps members who still need to finish them.

  • Enter data for the overarching components of the program and help fill data requests from program staff.

Payments & Finance Coordination

  • Review the Monday.com payment boards to confirm corps members are ready for payment — surveys complete and hours logged — and keep statuses updated weekly. Communicate any challenges directly with local staff for follow up.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to move approved payments through Bill.com and resolve questions along the way.

Service Partners & Curriculum Support

  • Support intake of service partner interest forms and keep the partner board in Monday.com current.

  • Ensure all service partners have signed MOUs and provide up-to-date Certificates of Insurance

  • Collect curriculum submissions from local staff and support a light quality-control review.

Cross-Team Coordination & Administration

  • Review and update service corps systems and tasks to make service corps easier to hand off and repeat, and onboard new staff to service corps systems and processes.

  • Contribute to an internal, cross-functional working group to identify efficiencies and flag blind spots.

  • Identify and help build AI tools and workflows into admin and ops systems to support operational efficiency

  • Use AI tools, including Claude, to support drafting and communications workflows

Position Skills & Core Competencies:

We know that you may not have all the skills listed. We encourage you to apply even if you only check some of the boxes.

  • Detail-oriented. You keep track of many moving pieces and notice when something is missing or off.
  • Organized under deadlines. You can juggle several timelines at once without dropping things.
  • A clear communicator. You write and speak plainly across different teams and with program participants.
  • A problem-solver. You spot gaps in a process and either fix them or flag them with a suggestion.
  • Comfortable with systems. You pick up new tools quickly and like making them work better.
  • Collaborative. You enjoy connecting people and information across teams.
  • Grounded in our mission. You’re excited about how strong operations make Jewish service possible.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in operations, program coordination, administration, or a similar role.
  • Comfort with data entry and a high bar for accuracy.
  • Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Salesforce, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and e-signature and payment tools like Adobe Sign and Bill.com.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Commitment to Repair’s mission of Jewish service and learning.
