Responsibilities
- Design, operate, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure.
- Manage EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, Launch Templates, Application Load Balancers, VPC networking, and security groups.
- Operate AWS services including RDS MySQL, ElastiCache Redis, OpenSearch, Amazon MQ, S3, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
- Maintain the Magento stack, including Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish, Redis, cron jobs, and queue consumers.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD workflows and automated AWS deployment processes.
- Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, backups, restoration, and performance troubleshooting.
- Manage Cloudflare DNS, CDN, caching, WAF rules, DDoS protection, and SSL/TLS configuration.
- Collaborate with developers on deployments, environment configuration, database changes, and production support.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Linux server administration in production environments.
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong experience with Nginx, PHP-FPM, Redis, Varnish, MySQL, and OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated AWS deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of RDS MySQL backups, restoration, parameter tuning, and slow-query analysis.
- Strong understanding of networking, IAM, security groups, TLS/SSL, reverse proxies, and least-privilege access.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting, Linux automation, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, AWS OIDC, Systems Manager, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Magento 2 administration experience.
- Experience with Cloudflare, Amazon MQ, PCI-DSS environments, or secure vendor file-transfer workflows.
