About Roamless

The origin story of Roamless is one that will be familiar to many: we saw something broken and we decided to fix it for good.

โ€We all travel. We all need to stay connected. And we all hate roaming charges. Existing alternatives were clunky, expensive, and unreliable, so we built something better. We made it easy, reliable and affordable for travellers to get connected and stay connected as they roam the world.

Our truly global mobile connectivity service is up to 90% cheaper than traditional roaming. With one eSIM, you get instant, reliable data anywhere in the world. No SIM swaps, no hunting for Wi-Fi, no choosing countries or data packs. Your balance never expires, so you can use it across trips with zero hidden fees or expiration dates.

In just 3 years, we've grown 4-5x Year on Year and have been trusted by +1.5M users who overall rate us 4.6 on Trustpilot.

๐Ÿš€ We also recently closed a $12M Series A led by Rasmal Ventures, with participation from Shorooq, Revo Capital, Finberg, and JIMCO, to fuel our mission of becoming the world's first truly global mobile operator.

About the role

We are expanding our organic channels at Roamless, and we are looking fo SEO specialist to own our SEO content and Digital PR.

You'll take over our content SEO and digital PR strategy end to end: building blogs that bring people in, launching localized content for new markets, and running the digital PR/link-building campaigns that get us mentioned and linked to by real publications.

You'll work alongside our technical SEO specialist and Head of SEO, and youโ€™ll focus on content strategy, briefing, and outreach. Working AI is a big part of this role, your job will be to think behind it: research, briefs, judgment calls on what to prioritize, and proofing/editing the output so it's actually good. You'll also oversee how our blog content performs across different languages we publish in, and run digital PR campaigns roughly once every two months.
You'll report directly to Emily Waddell, our Head of SEO.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain our editorial calendar, and manage stakeholder requests for new blog content: evaluating and prioritizing them against real traffic/revenue potential rather than just executing on request
  • Identify content gaps market-by-market as we expand, and brief content specific to those audiences
  • Do keyword research and competitive content analysis: you know what's actually ranking, not just running keywords through a tool in a vacuum
  • Write AI content briefs and proof/edit the AI-generated output
  • Oversee our AI-driven blog localization across different languages: track whether the strategy is actually working and report on organic non-branded traffic by market
  • Improve our existing internal AI content and localization plugins
  • Plan and run digital PR/link-building campaigns, from data-story ideation through data sourcing to outreach and pitching to journalists

What you will bring

Must-haves:
  • Native or near-native English language skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in content SEO and Digital PR.
  • Proven understanding of keyword research and content analysis. You follow and understand how keyword research has changed over the years
  • A genuine grasp of searcher intent versus pure SEO optimization
  • Solid prompt engineering skills; you know what makes an AI brief good versus bad.
  • Solid understanding of what good digital PR looks like
  • Experience with multi-language websites
  • A startup mindset. Comfort with ambiguity, happy to wear many hats, and able to work with real autonomy (we're a lean team; there's no 12-person approval chain here)
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Experience with GEO

What we offer

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Hardware you need to be most productive
  • ๐Ÿ’ป Home office budget. $500 on equipment for home office setup (eg. a keyboard, a screen, etc). This is a one-off budget that doesn't renew every year, but doesn't expire.
  • ๐ŸŽ“ Learning and development budget. Up to $1000 annually to be spent on books, online courses, conferences, etc.
  • ๐Ÿ“ Full-time local contract via EOR
  • ๐ŸŒ $200 non-expiry yearly Flex credit for data, hotspot, and calls.
  • ๐Ÿ“ฑAnnual phone number subscription. A real phone number (US, UK, Canada, or Australia) inside the Roamless app.
  • ๐Ÿค— Supportive, diverse, inclusive team
