Senior Video Editor for Youtube Channel (US-Based, Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our team full-time. This role focuses on producing high-end, narrative-driven content across real estate, lifestyle, and YouTube formats, including long-form videos, trailers, and short-form cuts.

You will work remotely using our Los Angeles-based systems and collaborate closely with our team to deliver engaging, high-quality content that aligns with our brand and editorial style.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube content with strong pacing and audience retention in mind

• Develop and refine voiceover structure and narrative flow
• Create engaging trailers and short-form cuts from long-form content
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and elevate a consistent editorial style
• Deliver high-quality edits efficiently within deadlines
• Manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables in an organized manner

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (primary editing platform)
• Ability to work remotely via Parsec and operate Apple Studio systems
• Strong and stable internet connection for seamless remote workflow
• Comfortable working within a server-based environment

Creative Expectations

• Strong storytelling instincts and narrative development skills
• Good sense of music selection, sound design, and pacing
• Understanding of YouTube content dynamics and audience retention strategies
• Ability to contribute creative ideas while aligning with an established style

Additional Context

• This is a full-time role with dedicated focus on our projects
• We produce high-end, narrative-driven real estate and lifestyle content, and are expanding into vlogs, day-in-the-life, and behind-the-scenes formats
• Attention to detail, taste level, and adaptability across formats are critical
• Experience working with structured editing workflows, shared storage systems, and high-volume footage is a strong plus
