Senior Vice President of Strategy & Product Development
The Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product Development serves as a key member of Enstrom Helicopter Corporation's executive leadership team and strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for developing and executing the Company's long-term strategic vision, product roadmap, business growth initiatives, and market expansion strategies. The SVP provides executive leadership over product strategy, product lifecycle management, enterprise growth initiatives, and strategic business development while ensuring alignment between customer requirements, market opportunities, engineering capabilities, manufacturing objectives, and financial performance.
Position: Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product Development
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Status: Exempt
Location: Primarily Remote
Travel Requirement: Approximately 25%–40%
Compensation Range: $250k - $300k Annually, plus performance incentives
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB FUNCTION
- Develop and execute enterprise growth strategies that support Enstrom's long-term business objectives and competitive position.
- Establish and maintain a 3-to-10-year product vision and roadmap for current and future aircraft platforms.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging technologies, customer requirements, and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives and business development efforts that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and organizational performance.
- Provide executive oversight of product lifecycle management, including product development, manufacturing support, fleet sustainment, and customer experience initiatives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by translating operational, commercial, and market requirements into actionable product strategies and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory Compliance, and Customer Support teams.
- Evaluate and prioritize investments, product portfolio opportunities, partnerships, and business initiatives.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business growth strategies.
- Strong understanding of product development and product lifecycle management.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aviation Management, Finance, or a related field required.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, Aviation Management, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, product management, engineering leadership, business development, or executive management roles.
- Aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or defense industry experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of FAA certification processes and highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Office-based work with frequent computer use.
- Ability to sit, type, review documents, and participate in meetings for extended periods.
- Ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline as business needs require.
- Ability to visit manufacturing, engineering, testing, and operational environments.
