As our Senior UI Designer, you'll shape how people interact with real, physical devices: the app that pairs with a smart ring, the interface that controls high-end speakers, the screen that shows your heart rate live. Your designs won't end up in a drawer; you'll take them from the first client workshop all the way to production, working with international startups, scale-ups, and enterprise clients, side by side with a world-class UX team and developers who genuinely care about design. It's a permanent, full-time role: fixed monthly salary and full benefits from day one.
We've been designing and co-creating connected devices since 2008: wearables, smart audio, and health-tech hardware for clients like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh, backed by investors like a16z and Founders Fund. We're 60+ people, fully remote, and we've been AI-native since before LinkedIn influencers discovered the term. If you've ever designed a pairing flow and felt weirdly proud when the LED actually blinked, you already get why we love what we do.
If you want a neat list of tickets every morning, and design for you means filling in screens someone else already thought through, we're probably not your people. Same if you work 8-16, log off, and would rather never hear about design systems, experiments, or knowledge-sharing again. We look for designers who ask "why" before "how", who show their work early, and who care about the device on the other end of the screen, not just the screen itself. And we're AI-native: if AI tools feel like a gimmick to you, we're not the right fit.
Conduct design workshops with clients and turn messy inputs into clear design directions
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for new and existing products and features, mostly native iOS and Android apps
Design interfaces where software meets hardware: pairing flows, device status, sensor data visualization
Support projects from initial design to final production, in close collaboration with developers, QA, and PMs
Help implement and develop our new branding
Push and experiment with new ideas, trends, and tools, and turn the good ones into team standards
Share knowledge within and outside of intent: chapter sessions, tech talks, the design community
Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow, not as a party trick
4+ years of commercial experience in UI design; product design is something you genuinely enjoy living and breathing
Advanced Figma skills: design systems built on components and auto-layouts, and files other designers can actually navigate
Hands-on experience designing interfaces for IoT and connected devices (not "I read about it once")
A broad portfolio of visually rich work you're proud to walk us through
Solid knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android platform guidelines, paired with a real passion for mobile technology
Some experience with motion and animation, not only static screens
The basics of Photoshop and Illustrator
Very good English (C1), because our clients are mostly US-based
Confidence presenting designs to clients and explaining your decisions; joining pre-sales calls with potential clients doesn't scare you
Initiative, ownership, and the kind of communication where people don't have to guess what you meant
Experience designing for wearables, health-tech, or smart audio
Motion design tools: After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or similar
Experience running or co-running brand design work
Familiarity with designer-developer handoff beyond the mockup: design tokens, variables, naming conventions
Genuine curiosity about the devices you design for, not just the interfaces on top of them
Fully remote with an office in Warsaw if walls and coffee machines motivate you, but nobody will ask why you're not there. Working hours are flexible: most of the team operates between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, and that's when most meetings happen. Evening calls with US-based clients (up to ~20:00) are part of the rhythm, sometimes a couple of times a week, always planned ahead. You'll be part of the UX/UI Design chapter for knowledge-sharing and growth, and simultaneously on a project squad led by a PM for day-to-day delivery, working alongside mobile and firmware engineers, QA, and UX designers.
15,500-22,000 PLN net/month on B2B, depending on your experience
26 days of paid leave
10 days of paid sick leave
Saltus medical care
Training budget
Truly flexible hours: you organize your own day
We aim to give you space to ramp up before jumping into live project work, but this is a real company with real deadlines: if a project needs you sooner, we'll make sure you have the support to hit the ground running. You'll get paired with a buddy from the design team and take on progressively bigger tasks so both sides can see how the collaboration feels. Feedback comes early and often; no one waits three months to tell you something isn't working. We believe in fast, honest signals: if it's great, you'll know. If something needs adjusting, you'll hear about it while there's still time to adjust.
The entire process is in English. All interviews are recorded for internal evaluation purposes.
