Position Overview

We're seeking a client-facing Technical Project Manager to drive successful delivery of complex automation projects and initiatives across technical, product, and customer teams. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor who aligns technical strategy with business goals while owning planning, execution, and delivery of your portfolio of accounts.

You'll work closely with the team to build a strong understanding of the customer's actual problem, not just the spec. This is a communication-heavy role; things stall when updates don't flow both ways.

There's no rigid playbook here - the team operates with a flat, collaborative culture where decisions get made together, without hierarchy, and people are expected to speak up when they have questions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with customer goals and organizational priorities.

• Build expertise in the OneReach.ai Communication Studio and related technologies (Voice, SMS, NLU, low-code/no-code).

• Develop and maintain account roadmaps, ensuring visibility, accountability, and clear progress reporting across stakeholders.

• Ensure all technical and business requirements are properly gathered, validated, and communicated to implementation teams.

• Identify and manage interdependencies, risks, scope, and resources across teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

• Collaborate with delivery, product, and growth teams to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, facilitating design sessions, progress reviews, and key decision meetings.

• Represent the company during onsite customer and partner meetings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical account management or technical project/program management in a software, automation, or technology-driven environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Demonstrated experience working directly with clients or enterprise stakeholders, balancing delivery execution with relationship management.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills, with experience producing structured internal and external program artifacts such as status reports, risk logs, and delivery dashboards.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, and automation architectures.

• Experience translating operational or customer requirements into clear, actionable technical plans.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation platforms, conversational AI, or SaaS product delivery.

• Previous hands-on experience in a technical or engineering role (e.g., software development, systems analysis, solutions engineering).

• Familiarity with low-code / no-code tools or workflow orchestration systems.

• Experience leading distributed or global delivery teams.

This is independent contractor role (B2B). The approximate compensation for this position is 115,000 - 150,000 CAD/Gross annually. Actual starting pay depends on factors including work location, relevant experience, and skill level.
