The team spans multiple countries and disciplines - infrastructure, software development, performance engineering, security, and hosting operations. Technical conversations regularly move from Linux internals and kernel behaviour to Go, PHP, distributed systems, and database internals. Everyone is expected to contribute, challenge assumptions, and help shape the platform.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, software, and operations.

You will help design, build, and run the systems that power thousands of websites - working across Linux, networking, security, automation, and application delivery.

This is not a ticket-resolution role. Over time you become a technical co-owner of the platform - reducing operational concentration risk, distributing knowledge, and driving architectural decisions that improve reliability, security, and performance at scale.

We are not looking for someone who has read the documentation. We are looking for someone who has been paged at 2am, diagnosed a cascading failure under pressure, and come out the other side knowing exactly what broke and why - who has tuned a database that was quietly killing performance, hardened a server that had been treated as a known risk for too long, and written automation that actually gets used.
