This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing, securing, and operating enterprise systems while mentoring others and partnering closely with IT leadership.    What you’ll do  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure (Windows and/or Linux)  • Own core services including Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, storage, and certificates  • Implement and enforce infrastructure security controls, patching, and least-privilege access  • Support SOC 2 compliance and penetration testing through hands-on technical contributions  • Build automation using PowerShell/Bash to improve reliability and reduce operational risk  • Design and validate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions  • Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis  • Mentor IT Support staff and provide technical leadership across the organization    Why this role  • 100% remote, full-time position  • High autonomy and technical ownership  • Direct involvement in security, compliance, and infrastructure strategy  • Opportunity to lead, mentor, and influence long-term platform decisions  ........................................................................................ QualificationsWhat we’re looking for  • 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience  • Strong experience with Windows Server, VMware (preferred), and Veeam (preferred)  • Solid networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; SonicWall a plus)  • Experience with monitoring and incident response (ManageEngine preferred)  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity environments  • Comfortable operating independently in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
