We are currently seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Statistical Programmer at ICON, you will play a crucial role in analyzing clinical trial data and supporting the statistical analysis process to ensure high-quality results. You will contribute to the success of our clinical studies by developing and validating statistical programs in R, collaborating with biostatisticians, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Developing and validating R programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.

  • Leading more than one Statistical Programming team to create, validate and generate statistical outputs, including listings, tables, figures, and CDISC-compliant SDTM and ADaM datasets (including mapping specifications) of low to moderate complexity.

  • Collaborating with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methods to be applied to clinical data.

  • Performing quality control and validation of statistical outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

  • Assisting in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and publications to support regulatory submissions and clinical study reporting.

  • Contributing to process improvements by identifying efficiencies in programming practices, automation, and the use of R-based analytical workflows.

  • Supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of standardized R programming tools, macros, and reporting solutions across studies.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience in statistical programming within a clinical research, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Strong proficiency in R programming, including the development and validation of clinical trial datasets, analyses, and reporting outputs.

  • Good understanding of CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM, and their application within clinical trials.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry guidance related to statistical programming and clinical data reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively convey complex information.
